| Ozzy Osbourne and Judas Priest will headline Sauna Open Air festival held at Tampere on 9.-11.6.2011. Heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne will perform on Thursday June 9 and the festival will be closed on Saturday June 11 by Judas Priest whose album "British Steel" is considered to be one of the best heavy metal albums. Other confirmed acts are Helloween who are touring for sold out venues in Finland at the moment and long-awaited Sauna Open Air guest Saxon. Three day tickets will be available on Friday December 10.
Judas Priest have announced their upcoming tour "Farewell Tour" to be their last world tour. Bands original member guitarist K.K.Downing has good memories from Tampere. The guitarist visited Tampere in winter and recalls a chilly pub crawll in -25 degrees celcius. The guitarist looks forward for next years festival and claimes it to be the best Sauna Open Air so far with such performers as Ozzy, Saxon and Helloween. He also hopes for warmer weathers to make his next bar tour in Tampere.
Legendary Ozzy Osbourne has also visited Finland before. The artist remembers his first visit in Finland. When landing to Finland he saw an airport bar full of partying people at 7 am and the artist recalls to have liked the finnish folk immediatly. Ozzy arrives to Sauna Open Air with his new guitarist Gus G. His cooperation with last guitarist Zakk Wylde came to end and Osbourne needed some new blood to join the band. Ozzy praises Gus G to be a great guy and skilled musician who also performs at his latest album "Scream".
