| Formed by former Sepultura singer-guitarist Max Cavalera, Soulfly (USA/BRA) arrive to Tavastia in Helsinki on Thursday June 17th 2010. Tickets will be available on Wednesday May 26th at 9 am, the same day Soulfly release their new album "Omen".
Soulfly is known from their extremely energetic live shows and has become familier with finnish metal fans due to the bands frequent appereances in Finland. Soulfly was formed in 1997 after Max Cavalera left his former band Sepultura the previous year. The bands current line up consists of vocalist-guitarist Max Cavallera, guitarist Marc Rizzo, basist Bobby Burns and drummer Joe Nunez.
Soulfly's music is a mixture of heavy metal, hardcore and worldmusic with brazilian influence. Their new awaited and praised album "Omen" has been visited by such musicians as Tommy Victor (Prong) and Greg Puciato (Espace Plan), also Cavaleras son Igor plays drums in the Sepultura cover "Refuse-Resist".
