| Japanese Bo Ningen will pay their first visit to Finland and perform at Kuudes Linja on March 23. The evening will be opened by domestic Siinai.
Originally from the suburbs of Tokyo and Osaka, the young musicians of Bo Ningen have taken up their quarters in London. The band combines loads of different influences in their music in the spirit of their fellow-country groups Boredoms, Boris and Melt-Banana. Bo Ningen's music includes echoes from Can's and Amon Duul's kraut rock, Black Sabbath's heavy riff rock, Gang Of Four's post punk and At The Drive-In's and Refused's post hardcore. The band's self-titled debut album saw the daylight in the end of 2010. Previously Bo Ningen have performed, for example, at End Of The Road, Offset and Camden Crawl festivals.
