| German alternative rock band Guano Apes arrive to Helsinki in Tavastia on Monday April 18. Guano Apes were founded in 1994 by guitarist Henning Rumenapp, bassist Stefan Ude and drummer Dennis Poschwatta. Singer Sandra Nasic joined the group later that year. The bands first single "Open Your Eyes" was released in 1996 followed by the platinum selling debut album next year.
Guano Apes released their sophmore album in 2000 including the hit "Big In Japan". The band split up in 2005 after releasing their compilation "Planet of the Apes". The band reunited and performed at Nickelsdorf Austria and Rock Am Ring in summer 2009. The band's fourth studio album "Bel Air" will be released in early April 2011. Single "Oh What A Night" was released on Friday January 28.
