| American alternative rock band Wilco will perform at Kulttuuritalo, Helsinki on May 20th and at Pakkahuone, Tampere the following night. Having played the most acclaimed rock show of last autumn at Helsinki Festival's Huvila Tent, the band return to Finland after only a brief waiting.
Combining folk, americana, alternative rock and alt country, Wilco are one of today's most significant American bands. By far, the band have released seven studio albums which include classics ”Summerteeth” (1999), ”Yankee Hotel Foxtrot” (2002), ”A Ghost is Born” (2004) and ”Wilco (The Album) (2009)”. Soundi recently chose "Wilco (The Album)" as the best album of the year and the band's masterpiece "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot" was voted as the second best album of last decade by Radio Helsinki. "Jesus, Etc." from the album is the most played track of all times on Radio Helsinki.
