The summer and Tuska 20th Anniversary bash in Suvilahti, Helsinki during 30.6.-2.7. are just around the corner.
Three new groups have been included in the bill for 2017. LIK from Stockholm, Sweden, operates within the death metal realm that is synonymous with their home base. Finnish prowess is represented by the additions of Tampere-based punk-act Huora and superbly catchy yet twistedly riffing Amendfoil.
Tuska festival area will once again provide a variety of entertainment, ways to quench your thirst and stimulate your taste buds. Black Dining, the restaurant that serves fine dining festival food that is, yes, black, is now located in a larger room and features its’ own whisky bar. Other classic services such as the cocktail bar, champain bar, Alepa festival store, Bio Luvil Black festival laundry and the traditional EMP signing sessions serve the festival goers, just like you’re used to. Your local record dealer at Tuska will be legendary Helsinki specialty record store Keltainen Jäänsärkijä.
A new feature on this year’s festival is Rottanaama Beer Bingo. Beer and bingo, hosted by two motor mouth punks: a recipe for success.
A completely new piece in the festival puzzle is the ”Tulinen Grillialue” bbq area, which is presented by Turun Sinappia, THE mustard brand. In the bbq area you can enjoy barbeque-related treats while taking a break from the hard work that festival attending can be. It’s almost like your summer cottage, except that you can go watch Mastodon!
