”Every spring I die” is a concert and an anthology that presents a more lyric side of the Russian band DDT. The concert will be held at freshly renovated Helsingin Kulttuuritalo that reopens its doors for the band on April the 27th.
The band’s leading figure Juri Sevtsuk is a poet from Saint Petersburg. For him, the city is an endless source of inspiration. His poems intervene between different layers of Russian history and realism of everyday life. Sevtsuk and his lyrics have also political influence in modern Russia in a way only a rock star could have.
