A year ago the Japanese pop punk trio Shonen Knife sold out their concert at Bar Loose. Now the girl band is coming for another gig, this time at Tavastia on Wednesday, October the 24th.
Shonen Knife has been around for over 30 years. The band has toured with big names like Nirvana on their Nemermind tour and names classic punkers like The Ramones and Buzzcocks as its most important influences. Shonen Knife released early this summer their 17th album “Pop Tune” and is touring in Europe during upcoming autumn months. Shonen Knife also brings along another interesting trio, FU for Former Utopia as the support to wrap the concert audience into a magical soft sound blanked before Shonen Knife begins to shoot out its glorious ramopunk pop joy.
