The Serbian blues musician, guitar virtuoso and a singer-songwriter Ana Popovic is coming to Finland for two concerts. The super star in her own genre is playing a show in Helsinki at Tavastia on Wednesday, January 25th and after that, on Saturday, January 28th in Kemi at Pakkasukko Blues & Jazz festival.
The year 2011 has been busy in Ana Popic’s scedule: The artist has among other things played support on B.B. King’s Germany tour, performed at 35 festivals, released a single ”Unconditional” that rose to seventh place on Billboard Blues and collected several awards and a lot of critic praise. At the moment starlet is nominated in Blues Music Awards in three categories: Contemporary Blues Female Artist, Contemporary Blues Album (Unconditional), Best DVD (An Evening at Trasimeno Lake).
