The American guitar star Slash is coming for a concert in Helsinki together with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators. The musician, who released his second solo album “Apocalyptic Love” in spring, will perform at Hartwall Arena on Tuesday, February the 19th. The ticket sale begins on Monday, December the 3rd at 9 am Finnish time.
Slash belongs among the most important icons in the rock world. He gained his place as one of music history’s greatest guitar heroes already 25 years ago with Guns’n’Roses debut “Appetite For Destruction”. Last spring, Guns’n’Roses was included in the Hall of Fame of Rock and Roll, and for a good reason, as the band has written many songs that belong in the canon of rock.
The cooperation between Slash and Myles Kennedy began in 2010 when Kennedy sang on Slash’s debut album together with other stars like Iggy Pop, Ian Astbury and Ozzy Osbourne. The good chemistry between the two artists has since continued and the cooperation grew even bigger on Slash’s second album “Apocalyptic Love”. The awaited record came out in May. The Conspirators, formed by the bassist Todd Kerns and the drummer Brent Fitz, became a part of the concept from the studio and touring.
