| A true pioneer in the post rock genre, Scottish Mogwai will return to Finland next spring. The band will perform at Tavastia on April 5th 2011. Tickets will be available on November 2nd.
Founded in Glasgow in 1995, Mogwai are one the most renowned and acclaimed names in the genre. The band's mainly instrumental songs paint beautifully meandering soundscapes and play with sudden contrasts of quiet and loud.
Mogwai have released six studio albums and the latest, "The Hawk Is Howling" was put out in 2008. Earlier this year, the band released their first live album "Special Moves" and their first live film "Burning". Mogwai are currently in the studio working on their forthcoming album due in February.
