American hard rock group Mr. Big will return to Finland in summer. The band will perform at Tavastia on June 8. Tickets will be available on Monday February 21.
Mr. Big were founded in 1988 by vocalist Eric Martin, bassist Billy Sheehan, guitarist Paul Gilbert and drummer Pat Torpey under the California sun. The band are probably best known for their hard rock ballads "To Be With You" and "Just Take My Heart" but they are in their element also with rock, blues and heavy metal alike. After a successful career and millions of sold records, Mr. Big split up in 2002.
The original line-up reunited after 13 years in 2009 and their new album, "What If…", was released last month. The album is produced by Kevin Shirley who has previously worked with the likes of Aerosmith, Rush and Iron Maiden. Mr. Big's forthcoming album release tour starts from South America in March and it finally reaches Europe early summer. The band were last seen in Finland on their successful comeback tour in 2009.
