HELLDONE FESTIVAL 2008

|The fourth Helldone Festival in Helsinki, Finland will be as warm, loose and easygoing as it’s always been. There’s one new thing though, more of a sort of added bonus as Helldone Festival does a road trip.

This time around HIM, KYPCK (pronounced ‘Kursk’) and 45 Degree Woman take the festival on the road, to the cities of Oulu and Tampere. While this fearless trio shares some good vibes with the rest of the country, Helldone HQ in Helsinki is rocking to the sounds of Stam1na, Diablo and Godsplague on Monday 29^th, and The 69 Eyes, Negative and Sara on Tuesday 30^th . New Year’s Eve marks the eagerly awaited return of the road warriors.

Helldone 2008 marks the tenth anniversary of HIM’s New Year’s Eve shows at Tavastia Club - the tradition out of which the Helldone Festival was born. Each night there will be top bands on the Tavastia stage, while the neighbouring venue Semifinal serves as a chill out zone with some familiar faces spinning records. HIM will traditionally start their set at midnight on New Year’s Eve.

Ticket sales starts on Wednesday October 15th at 9 a.m. (Finnish time).

Tiketti's phone service and outlets in Helsinki, in Oulu and 8-raita in Turku will open at 9 a.m. Also the online shop opens at 9 a.m.

3 day tickets for Tavastia will be exchanged for a festival badge and a wrist band. The exchange starts on Sat 27^th of December at noon at Tiketti’s outlet in Helsinki (Urho Kekkosen katu 4-6). Outlet is open: Sat 12-18, Mon 9-19, Tue-Fri 10-19 (Sun closed). You can also purchase your badge from Tavastia during the festival.
