The British punk troubadour Frank Turner and the Finnish folk punk duo Jaakko & Jay are making a mini tour together early next year. The artists made over 20 gigs together around Europe in 2009 and now they will perform at Klubi both in Turku and Tampere, at Tavastia in Helsinki and at Lutakko in Jyväskylä on following nights starting on Wednesday, January the 16th. The ticket sale for all four concerts begins on Wednesday, December the 5th.
Frank Turner played in the hardcore punk band Million Dead before leaving for a solo career in 2005. He has gained wide international success especially with his two last albums “Poetry of the Deed” (2009) and “England Keep My Bones” (2011). The singer-songwriter, who tours together with his background band The Sleeping Souls, has promised his next album to be released in March.
