A recent new arrival to the lineup of rock festivals, Radio City South Park, 6th to 7th of June, brings international stars to Eteläranta, Tampere. The mind blowing headliners of the festival are worldwide popularity in the 80’s reached Swedish Europe, as well as the heavy metal legend W.A.S.P. and the hard rock band Skid Row, both from the United states. In addition to the top 3 bands just mentioned, the foreign lineup is strengthened by Swedish hards rock-comet H.E.A.T, as well as self-destructive and sinister gang Shining.
The festival has also attached a wide range of domestic top artists. The festival stage is taken over by melodic metal band Sonata Arctica, domestic glam – pride Reckless Love, in the international arenas name gained Battle Beast, as well as from its rumpus gigs known Santa Cruz.
Areena tent will host several interesting bands such as Ville Laihiala’s Poisonblack band, psychedelic Death Hawks, radio hit Doom Unit, trash metal band Lost Society, power metal ambassador Dreamtale, in respect of the late Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell performing Dimebag Beyond Forever, from a long break with a warm welcome returning Brother Fire Tribe, as well as hard rock newcomer Egokills. In addition to the massive stage, vibrant atmosphere equipped with bars and a restaurant boat, the area will also have a food village, which offers a tastefully prepared hearty festival food.
