The hip hop music urban festival Blockfest has announced their second international main performer in addition to the already announced rap legend Ice Cube. The festival organized in Tampere at Ratinaniemi between the 17th and 18th of August has confirmed the American multi-platinum selling artist Busta Rhymes for Saturday.
The five years old Blockfest has been selling out in presale for several years now. The festival brings on stage in addition to the international stars also a bunch of high quality Finnish hip hop names: Friday brings forth the rap artists Asa, Eevil Stö & DJ Kridlokk, Flegmaatikot, Juju, Paleface, Perhosveitsi-Heikki & Lika-Aki, Petri Nygård, SMC Lähiörotat and Ruger Hauer as well as the beat box talent Felix Zenger, the popular reggae star Jukka Poika and the swing band Kuningas Pähkinä & Setä Tamu.
Saturday program includes Hebaleba, Cheek, Elokuu, Gasellit, Gracias feat. Noah Kin, JVG, Jii-Pee & DJ Sir Jake, Karri Koira, Kultabassokerho freestyle open, Majuri, Mikael Gabriel, Raappana, Ruudolf, Solonen, Stig and Supreme Team. Also summer's only Rähinä Live will be organized at Blockfest on Saturday night in the lead Fintelligens.
