Battle Beast, formed in 2008, have in ten years fought their way into the hearts of the Finnish audiences and become a household name in Europe – nowadays the beasts are already conquering the land stateside.
Tarot is a name all heavy metal enthusiasts rank high up on their lists, but Nightwish and the annual heavy metal Christmas tours called Raskasta Joulua have made Marko Hietala the whole country's favourite singing bass player! The Finnish heavy legend will present his own solo material in Suvilahti.
Japan's very own legendary 80's heavy metal pioneers of Loudness will again delight us with Akira Takasaki's phenomenal guitar playing and strange letter combinations. M-Z-A!
Other new acts are Dark Sarah, the Finnish pioneers of cinematic metal, mysterious power metal group Warkings and Austrian symphonic metal greats Visions Of Atlantis.
Angrier side of metal is handled by Finnish death metal power-duo Goatburner, featuring members of Rotten Sound and Ratface.
