| Organised at Seinäki, Finland on June 17.-19. Provinssirock has announced new bands to their line-up. Having just sold gold in Finland with their album "Nightmare", American Avenged Sevenfold will take over the main stage on Friday. The single "Nightmare" was last Summer's most played metal song in Finland.
On Saturday the main stage will be taken over by Social Distortion,
a group of artists who have sold over 4 million albums worldwide. One
year older than Provinssirock, the band released their seventh studio
album ”Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes” three weeks ago. The band has
visited Finland only once before in 2009 at "Pitkä Kuuma Kesä" festival.
The most successful electronic music artist at the moment, Australian Pendulum
will take over the hearts of festival audience on Saturday. The band
threw a sold out show at Kaapelitehdas in Helsinki last December and was
seen at Provinssirock's X-Stage last year. The artist wanted to return
to Seinäjoki and his last years' show was voted the "Best Show in Summer
2010" at radio channel Ylex contest. Pendulum's album "Immersion" was
voted to be "The Best album" and his song "Watercolour" the "Best Song".
