Before Mötley Crüe, Ratt and Metallica there was Y&T! The band that has sold over 4 million records worldwide is coming to Helsinki for a gig in Apollo Live Club on Wednesday, September 19th. Founded under the palmtrees in California in 1974 the band started out with covers but when Dave Meniketti joined the band as the lead singer the direction took a turn: Meniketti started writing his own material and soon Y&T was on the road of success. Now, 12 albums later, the band is still as strong as ever. Last year it made its first appearance in Finland and left the audience craving for more of rock from California summer.
