Ultravox has been a pathbreaker in new wave and electronic music from start. The band from London has released a new studio album ”Brilliant” just a couple of days ago and with that it’s taking on the road. In Helsinki the band will be performing at Tavastia club on Thursday, October 18th.
Ultravox began their career with neo romantic electro pop already in the 70’s. The band’s synth pop flavoured with punk and glam rock has strongly inspired and many artists around the world and it still continues to do so. The band’s best known hit songs are for instance “Dancing With Tears In My Eyes”, “Vienna” and ”Hymn”. The now released album “Brilliant” is the group’s first studio record for 18 years. The album’s single with the same name has charmed its audience and proved that the band stays true to their sound and style.
