In summer 2013 Tuska Open Air Metal Festival will be organized for the 16th time. The biggest Finnish metal music event, held between the 28th and the 30th of June at Suvilahti in Helsinki has announced its first artists. The special three day ticket edition will become available tomorrow, on Friday, October the 5th.
On Friday, the 28th of June 2013, Tuska main stage presents the Danish metal legend King Diamond. The artist who began his solo career after leaving the line-up of Mercyful Fate has been one of the most requested artist for Tuska throughout the years. Another band belonging in the same category is the English death metal duo Bolt Thrower, also confirmed for Friday. Tuska festival will be Bolt Thrower's only European live performance in the year 2013.
The confirmed names for Saturday are the Bay Area thrash titan Testament which has released a new album ”Dark Roots Of Earth” a short while ago and the Finnish leading name in metal music, Children of Bodom which was last seen at Tuska in 2007. More band announcement upcoming this fall.
The sale for the limited edition of 3 day Tuska tickets will begin tomorrow on Friday 5.10. The date, prices and ticket categories for the actual ticket sale will be announced later.
