One of last years' the most successful American bands, The Killers, is coming to Finland in spring. The band that released a new album, “Battle Born”, this fall, will take over Hartwall Arena in Helsinki on Tuesday, February the 26th. The ticket sale for the concert begins next week, on Wednesday, October the 24th at 9 am.
The Killers was formed in Las Vegas in 2001 and has ever since been taking over the world with their over 15 millions sold albums, many esteemed award-winnings and by charming millions of fans all over the globe. The Killers has released many hits with success other bands only dream of: ”Mr. Brightside”, ”All These Things That I’ve Done”, ”Smile Like You Mean It” and the mega hit ”Somebody Told Me” are only the ones from the band’s debut album “Hot Fuss” (2004).
After the first record, the expectations for the second release were high. With the second album “Sam’s Town” in October 2006 it finally became clear that The Killers can indeed create distinctive, time-enduring rock music. With that record the band also visited Helsinki with a concert at Jäähalli in 2007.
