The hip hop musician El-P who is known both for his work as an artist and as a producer, is coming for his first ever live show in Finland. The alternative rap music star is performing at Kuudes Linja in Helsinki on Saturday, October the 6th. The ticket sale begins tomorrow, Wednesday, July the 4th.
El-P has been releasing music since 1993 but his best known work is his second solo album “I’ll Sleep When You’re Dead” (2007), which is regarded to be a milepost in indie rap. El-P creates constantly renewing sound worlds that are still recognizably his own work. It took five years for a new record to follow his acclaimed previous album. The new album “Cancer 4 Cure” came out in May and it has already been said to set new standards for indie hip hop. The album is more electronic and rugged than before and it features artists like Killer Mike, Danny Brown and the Interpol vocalist Paul Banks.
