The power metal band Helloween’s ”Hellish Rock Tour Part II” tours through Finland next spring. Along on the tour travels also Gamma Ray. The German bands will perform in Helsinki at The Circus on Friday, March the 29th and after that in Tampere at Pakkahuone on Saturday, March the 30th. Ticket sale for the tour begins on Friday, September the 14th.
The upcoming tour is continuing the Helloween’s and Gamma Ray’s last year’s successful joint “Hellish Rock Tour”. The great power metal names played then 95 concerts in 34 countries in Europe, Asia and South and North America. The guitarist of Helloween, Michael Weikath describes the experience thus: “The atmosphere on stage and backstage was very special last time, we will be repeating the party and are looking forward to the tour already!” and Kai Hansen from Gamma Ray continues with “The Hellish Rock Tour definitely was a highlight of our band’s history, we’ll absolutely go wild once again!”
The innovative and unconditional power metal success Helloween has highly influenced the metal genre. During the band’s over 25-year-long career Helloween has sold millions of pieces of their 14 studio albums, gained gold and platinum record awards and kept their fans happy by touring often. Both Helloween and Gamma Ray have announced that their new records are coming out in early 2013. Gamma Ray has also published the name of their new drummer Michael Ehré who will be replacing Daniel Zimmerman.
