The American hardcore band Converge is coming to Helsinki in December as a part of the band’s ”All We Love We Leave Behind” tour. The main star as well as the night’s other performers Touché Amoré, A Storm of Light and The Secret will perform at Nosturi on Sunday, December the 9th. Ticket sale for the hottest alternative heavy music gig begins this Friday, on August the 24th.
Technical hardcore music, metal, punk and mathcore combining Converge has been a notable influence in the whole hardcore genre for the last two decades. The praised albums “Jane Doe” (2001) and “Axe to Fall” (2009), already classics in the genre, will get a follow up in September when the newest studio album ”All We Love We Leave Behind” comes out.
