The eccentric pop band Sparks is coming for a gig to Finland this fall as a part of band's debut album’s 40-year-anniversary tour “Two Hands, One Mouth”. The American duo will be performing at Tavastia on Sunday, October the 7th. Ticket sale begins on Friday, August the 3rd at 9 am.
Sparks was formed by two brothers, Russell and Ron Mael, who have written during the years a wide variety of music from bubble gum pop and electronic disco to glam rock and even musicals. The brothers are now celebrating their debut’s anniversary by touring alone without their background band for the first time ever. The duo has remixed their biggest hits into new versions that will be accompanied with only song and keyboard.
The tour which started out in June from UK has been a huge success: the reviews have been praising and the concerts have been sold out. The acoustic line-up and the new adaptations of the classic songs have told to bring forth the lyrics and fine details in music even better than before.
