The Finnish goth rock band The 69 Eyes is releasing their tenth studo album “X” on the 28th of September. The awaited album will put forth a huge tour that begins on the 26th and the 27th of October with Halloween parties in Turku at Klubi and in Helsinki at Nosturi. The tour continues then to Seinäjoki, Pori, Rauma and again to Helsinki this time at Tavastia club and then to Pakkahuone in Tampere.
”This time we start touring our new record from our home Finland! This is really refreshing change, a tight gig rhythm in promise. The new record is though stuff! The gang has a month to learn the songs and then we start from Halloween weekend and continue up till’ Christmas”, extols the band’s singer Jyrki Linnankivi.
The band has been working on the new record in Stockholm with the Swedish producing team ”On The Verge”. The album’s first single “Red” has just come out and its sound world has been created Stefan Boman, the producer of Kent.
