Provinssirock Festival, held in Seinäjoki between the 15th and 17th of June, has added Rise Against, Example and Snow Patrol to their artist list. Earlier announced names are M83, Justice, Mastodon and Kyuss Lives!. The ticket sale for Provinssirock begins on Monday, the 20th of February. All ticket categories, meaning the three, the two and the one day tickets will become available.
The American Rise Against is without a doubt among most requested names for 2012 at Provinssirock web forum. The band’s sixth album “End Game” was released about a year ago and it rose instantly to the second place in the US album charts. Snow Patrol, arriving to Finland for the first time this summer, has also released their sixth record “Fallen Empire” last year and all in all the band has sold at least 11 million records. The rock band is known for their beautiful melodic ballades and has appeared in the soundtracks of Spiderman 3 and TV-series ER and Grey’s Anatomy among others. The leading name in British electronic music, Example, is arriving to Provinssirock with a fuzz as his new album “Change The Way You Kissed Me” rose straight to the top of British charts.
