Lead by Dead Kennedys legend American Jello Biafra And The Guantamo School of Medicine arrive at Finland in June. The band perform at Nosturi, Helsinki on Tuesday 28 and at Klubi, Tampere on Wednesday 29 in June. Tickets will be available on Wednesday May 18.
Jello Biafra is best known as the leading man of the legendary group Dead Kennedys, but the punk pioneer has made an impressive career throughout his 30-years of making versatile music and many spoken word albums. Biafra even applied for a president and his record company Alternative Tentacles has released the music of the likes of Black Flag, Bad Brains and Husker Dü.
The Guantamo School of Medicine are Biafra's first actual band after Dead Kennedys split up. Their album "Audacity of Hype" was released in October 2009. The band was previously seen in Finland at Provinssirock 2010.
