Provinssirock Festival, held at Seinäjoki between the 15th and 17th of June, is bringing on stage many big American stars like Rise Against, Mastodon, Slayer and Kyuss Lives! as well as many other grate names including the Finnish melodic metal band Nightwish and the rock group Snow Patrol from UK.
The festival set has this year also been enriched with a long list of electronic music mega names. On Saturday Pronvinssirock breaks new records as the 10 000 person YleX tent will be harnessed for 12 hours to serve as the stage for Finland’s festival history’s biggest electronic music event Renegade Electrostagen. The dubstep, electro and drum ‘n’ bass music line-up includes Pendulum and Andy C’s dj sets as well as the live concerts of Chase & Status and Modestep. Local electro stars are represented in Eliot Ness, Rico Tubbs and Muffler.
