The British rock band Placebo is coming to Finland next fall. The group will star at Jäähalli in Helsinki on Friday, September 14th. The ticket sale begins on Monday, March 12th.
Placebo is known for their gloomy sound and has established their status as one of the most influential alternative rock bands. Formed in 1994, Placebo has released six studio albums that have sold althogether over 11 million pieces worldwide. The best known songs include “Song To Say Goodbye”, ”The Bitter End”, ”Every You Every Me”, ”Without You I’m Nothing”, ”Nancy Boy”, “Pure Morning”, “Taste In Men” and “For What It´s Worth”. Placebo’s last album “Battle For The Sun” came out in 2009 and was followed by massive touring that brought the band to Finland twice. Now the band is returning back to the studio and beginning the recordings of their seventh studio album.
