| Known as the singer of swedish rock band The Backyard Babies Nicke Borg arrives to Helsinki with an acoustic set in December. Performing by name Nicke Borg Homeland the musician will be seen on stage at On The Rocks on Friday 10th December.
Nicke Borg Homeland will release his first ep "Chapter 1" in Finland in November 24th. The release will present Borg in more country like tones than when playing with The Backyard Babies, although his recognizable voice echoes through. Debut album will be released in spring and before that Nicke Borg will participate to Eurovision Song Contest preliminary in Sweden with his song "Leaving Home". Borg has listed such legendary musicians/bands as Johnny Cash, Steve Earl, Elvis and Rolling Stones as his role models when it comes his solomaterial.
