The Norwegian acoustic folk / indie pop band Kings of Convenience is returning to Finland after years of absence. The leading star in the “new acoustic movement” is performing in Helsinki, Nosturi on Thursday, September 29th. Tickets available on Thursday, Septemper the 8th.
The duo Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe started out by playing in the same bands as teen agers. Kings of Convenience they’ve formed in the late 90’s and got their breakthrough 2001 when their debut album”Quiet is the New Loud” as well as the second one ”Versus” were released.
In recent years the greatly popular band hasn’t toured much but now they’re back and with a quite short notice, as usual, soon performing in Finland.
