HIM as the main performer for Ruisrock's Saturday

The oldest rock festival in Finland, Ruisrock, will be held at Ruissalo in Turku between the 5th and 7th of July 2013 for its 44th time. The festival has confirmed one of the most internationally successful Finnish bands, HIM, as the main performer for Saturday. This summer, the ambassadors of love metal perform in the lead of Ville Valo only at two concerts in Finland, at Ruisrock and in Oulu at Qstock festival. Three day and Saturday tickets for next summer’s Ruisrock festival now  available with last summer’s prices until the 31st of December.

HIM has sold millions of albums and collected a loyal fan base all around the world. This year the band concludes its silent period that has lasted for several years and celebrates HIM’s 20-year-long career. The band’s return to the stages has really been awaited for by the adoring audience, which can be seen in how incredibly fast Helldone festival at the end of the year was sold out. Last month HIM released its anniversary compilation album “XX – Two Decades of Love Metal” and now the band is recording its eight studio album, “Tears on Tape” by its working title, which is planned to come out by spring.

The next additions to Ruisrock’s program of will be announced during winter.

The Ruisrock festival three day and Saturday tickets are now available with the last summer’s prices until the end of December. Protection Fund for the Archipelago Sea and Ruisrock festival offer once again a simple way for the ticket buyers to take part in the project of cleansing the waters in the Archipelago Sea. It’s possible to support the work by donating 3 euros to the Fund when buying the festival ticket. The successful cooperation began in 2011 when the final sum of donation grew to 3651 euros. In 2012 the sum almost doubled and the gathered 6060 euros will be used to concrete projects.
