Ronnie James Dio died of cancer last year. His band wishes to continue the masters legacy for atleast one more tour. Managed by Wendy Dio the group Dio's Disciples perform at Sauna Open Air Festival on Friday June 10 and play Ronnie James Dio's biggest hits to respect his memory. Ronnie James Dio performed at Sauna Open Air Festival in 2005 and 2007 and was attending the sold out venue of Pakkahuone, Tampere in December 2009. Now Sauna Open Air wishes to offer the band and audience an unforgettable show to honor the master. The line-up consists of Rudy Sarzo, Craig Goldy, Simon Wright and vocalists Tim "Ripper" Owens and Toby Jepson.
Having sold over 20 million albums worlwide American Queensryche also arrive to the festival. The band is touring with Judas Priest and performs on Saturday June 11.
