Indie rock band The Vaccines arrive for the first time in Finland. Releasing their debut album ”What Did You Expect From The Vaccines?” in March the British band will perform at Tavastia on Thursday May 5 and the following night at Klubi, Tampere. Tickets will be available on Wednesday March 2.
Founded last year The Vaccines have been noticed in their home country due to the band's refreshing combination of indie pop and rock. Their first show in London last October was sold out and Q magazine named their first single "Wreckin' Bar (Ra Ra Ra)" track of today. The band also got a top position at BBC's Sound of 2011 list. Their other single ”Post Break-Up Sex” has also gained loads of radio play also in Finland and their upcoming debut album is expected to be one of biggest releases this year.
