Canadian heavy metal hero and bodybuilder Thor return to Finland in June. Thor will perform at Dom, Helsinki on Wednesday June 1. Starring Thor himself sci-fi/action movie "Thor - The Rock Opera" will be displayed before the show.
Jon Mikl Thor has won many bodybuilding titles in the 70's, including Mr. Canada, Mr. USA and Mr. Olympia, but is more known for his musical career as the leading figure and superhero of the heavy rock band Thor. Best known for their albums ”Keep the Dogs Away” (1977), ”Unchained” (1983) and ”Only the Strong” (1985), Thor have released their newest album "Sign of the V" in 2009.
Thor's performances include versitale show numbers. On stage Thor bends iron bars with his teeth, changes costumes and masks, fights demons, seduces girls wearing bikinis etc. Last time Thor was seen in Finland at Sauna Open Air metal festival in 2009.
