| Nowadays living in Stockholm singer-songwriter Ane Brun (NOR) will release her new album next year and head to European tour in October. Brun will start her tour from Tavastia in Helsinki on Saturday October 1st.
Ane Brun has spent her autumn touring; Last week Brun headed to the United States and Canada with Ani DiFranco after singing backing vocals for Peter Gabriel in September and October. In February 2011 she will start recording her fourth studio album with producer Tobias Fröbergin. The cooperation with Peter Gabriel will also continue, hence the artists have planned to perform in each others upcoming albums.
Ane Brun started her musical career by performing on the streets of Barcelona and San Sebastian in Spain. The charming musician has performed in Finland many times and is known from her sensitive voice and touching lyrics. In the past few years Ane Brun has become one of the most important folk musicians in Scandinavia and climbs up charts in Sweden and Norway. Awarded and highly praised Brun also runs her own record combany Balloon Ranger Records.
