Kivenlahti Rock festival, organized at Leppävaara Sports Park between Friday, the 7th and Saturday, the 8th of June, has confirmed a real hard rock giant into the festival’s program: Whitesnake, with over a 30-year-long career is coming to Espoo! The band has released many success albums during last decades and produces numerous hits. Whitesnake is strongly personified by its lead figure David Coverdale who formed the band after he left Deep Purple in 1977.
Local confirmed artists are currently Children of Bodom, PMMP, Ensiferum and Turmion Kätilöt, Cheek and Rottafest.
The program will get more additions, both local and international, in 2013.
