| Psychobilly band Mad Sin arrive to Finland in March. Played together for over 20 years and having released their latest album in Autumn 2010 the band perform at Nosturi on Saturday March 19. The evening is warmed up by Swedish punk and rockabilly band The Knockouts. Tickets will be available on Wednesday February 9.
Founded in Berlin in 1987 Mad Sin is known for touring actively. Seen frequently also in Finland the band has toured with the likes of Faith No More, Misfits and Suicidal Tendencies. Known as a tough live band Mad Sin always give 100 % when performing live and special effects boost the already energetic show. The band's latest album ”Burn and Rise” was released last Autumn.
Warming up Mad Sin, Swedish The Knockouts have been described as the combination of Stray Cats and Green Day. Skillful playing, songwriting skills, stylish look and tough live performances come together in this group. Their singer-guitarist Johan Frandsen is a former member of rockabilly band The Go Getters. Formed by Frandsen, drummer Ted Jergelin and bassist Ken Stone, The Knockouts released their praised ”Among The Vultures” album over a year ago and toured around Sweden, Germany, Finland and Czech Republic.
