| David Coverdale brings his hard rock group Whitesnake to Finland in June. Whitesnake will release their new album in March and head to worldtour. The band performs at Helsinki Icehall on Monday June 6. Tickets will be available on Monday February 14.
Whitesnake
World Tour 2011 presents the band's new drummer Brian Tichy (Ozzy,
Billy Idol, Foreigner) and bassist Michael Devin (Lynch Mob) to the
audience, addition to the already familiar guitarists Doug Aldrich and
Reb Beach. On tour the band celebrates their 11th album "Forevermore",
to be released on March 23.
" We have had an incredibly creative
and producive year. During this year we have written new songs,
recorded them and worked also with other projects. Especially excited we
are about our new album and to be able to perform these songs with the
old ones on tour." reports vocalist David Coverdale.
The
30-year-old Whitesnake is one of the biggest hard rock bands in history.
David Coverdale founded Whitesnake in 1977 after leaving from Deep
Purple. Throughout the years Whitesnake have released several albums,
including classics ”Come And Get It”, ”1987” and ”Slip Of The Tongue”.
Hits such as ”Don’t Break My Heart Again”, ”Here I Go Again”, “Is This
Love” and ”Fool For Your Loving” can all be found from these three
albums and are considered to be the cornerstones if classic rock.
