Progressive metal band Opeth arrive in Helsinki on Finland's national day December 6th to play their biggest concert in Finland so far at Helsinki Ice hall. The Swedish group is about to release their tenth studio album "Heritage" in September. The concert will be opened by another Swedish prog metal band Pain of Salvation. Tickets will be available on April 15.
Opeth are preparing the release of their tenth studio album "Heritagen" in Autumn. During their 20-year career the band has become to one on of the most respected hard metal groups in the world. Lead by Mikael Åkerfeldt, the band's previous releases "Watersheld" (2008) and the live album ”In Live at The Royal Albert Hall” (2010) have both rose first place also in Finnish charts.
Opeth have performed at the biggest festivals and clubs in Finland and visited Finland for many times. The evening is warmed up by Swedish progressive metal band Pain of Salvation. Releasing their eight studio album "Road Salt Two" in September the band have toured with the likes of Dream Theater and Evergrey.
