One of the most esteemed hard rock and heavy music guitarists, the German Michael Schenker, is coming to Finland next spring. Schenker and his band are performing at Klubi in Tampere on Thurday, April the 25th and at Virgin Oil in Helsinki the next night. Ticket sale for both concerts begins on Monday, November the 26th.
Schenker’s career in hard rock has lasted for over 40 years now. He joined his brother’s band, Scorpions, in the early 70’s and played on the band’s debut album “Lonesome Crow”. Later he continued as the guitarist in the bands UFO and Michael Schenker Group. He released his previous album “Temple of Rock” last year. “Temple of Rock & Lovedrive Re-Union Tour” offers both classics and new songs, the magic sound of Flying V guitar and hard rock in its earnest.
Together with Michael Schenker on stage will be: Doogie White who has sung in Yngwie Malmsteen’s band and Michael Schenker Group, the bassist Francis Buchholz from Scorpions and the guitarist and keyboard artist Wayne Findlay from Michael Schenker Group.
