Hurts arrive to Finland in January
| Last seen in Finland at sold out Club YK in Helsinki synthpop duo Hurts return to Finland in early 2011. Known from their hits "Wonderful Life" and "Better than Love" British Hurts will be performing at Tavastia Helsinki on Wednesday January 26th. Tickets will be available on November 18th.
Having released their debut album "Happines" this autumn Hurts is one of the most interesting newcomers in electronic music. Their hit singles have gained fame in Finland and aroung the world and the Brittish newspaper The Guardian has listed the band as "Band of the day" one year ago. Hurts rose to fourth place in Sound of 2010 vote arranged by BBC and in Finland both of the hits have gained loads of radio play. Kylie Minogue visited their song "Devotion" from album "Happines" and has also performed her own version of "Wonderful Life" at BBC's radio program.
Hurts is founded by Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson. The band has been compared to such synthpop classics as Ultravox and The Lotus Eaters. The duo has been touring intensively around Europe and from early December Hurts will be warming up Scissor Sisters on their tour in UK and then the band will head to Japan.
