Hip hop group EPMD arrive to Finland in March

| Erick Sermon, Parrish Smith and Dj Scratch aka EPMD arrive to Finland March. Considered to be one of the most important hip hop groups EPMD perform at Virgin Oil in Helsinki on March 2. Tickets will be available on Wednesday February 9.

Erick Sermon (E Double) and Parris Smith (PMD) met back in 1987 and founded the group Erick and Parrish Making Dollars aka EPMD. Their debut album "Stricktly Business” was released in 1988. The album sold gold and became immediately a classic. The duo did not dwell in success long and released their following albums in good pace. Their gold-selling sophmore album ”Unfinished Business” (1989) and the following albums ”Business As Usual” in 1990 and ”Business Never Personal” in 1992 earned EPMD the success they got in their genre.

After four successful albums EPMD split in 1993 and E Double and PMD headed for their solo careers. Erick Sermon has released five solo albums during 1993-2002 and Smith two during 1994-1996. EPMD officially reunited in 1997 and released a comeback album ”Back In  Business”, followed by albums ”Out of Business” (1999) and ”We Mean  Business” (2008). Since that EPMD have toured actively worlwide.
