| Ankkarock, the traditional close-up party of the Finnish festival season will be organized again in Korso, Vantaa on the first weekend of August, 1.-2.8.2009.
Like always, Ankkarock’s program will consist of popular bands from all around world – both foreign and Finnish. The last big Finnish rock festival of the summer features indie rock favourites TV on the Radio (USA) and The National (USA), metal bands Testament (USA), Amon Amarth (SWE) and Dragonforce (UK), hard rock group Hardcore Superstar (SWE) and hardcore punk band Fucked Up (CAN).
The bill is further strengthened by such domestic giants as Tehosekoitin with their long-awaited comeback, Finnrock icon Eppu Normaali, heavy band Sonata Arctica and battle metal band Turisas. Other domestic acts include Amorphis, Apulanta, CMX, Egotrippi, Kotiteollisuus, Le Corps Mince De Francoise, Maija Vilkkumaa, Pintandwefall, PMMP, Scandinavian Music Group and Tuomo.
At the moment the daily programme looks like this:

Sunday: Amon Amarth (Swe), Fucked Up (Can), The National (Usa), Testament (Usa), Tv On The Radio (Usa), Amorphis, Apulanta, Eppu Normaali, Kotiteollisuus, Pintandwefall, Pmmp, Sonata Arctica & Turisas
There will still be some additions to the bill during the spring and summer.
