A three day long Summer Sound Festival will take over Messukeskus in Helsinki from the 27th to the 29th of July. As one of the biggest dance festivals in Nordic Europe, Summer Sound has confirmed the most dazzling electronic music artists as its main performers: Tiësto, who sells out stadiums on his world tour, Armin van Buuren, who is the best Tiësto’s competitor for the title of the world’s best DJ and Fedde le Grand who is a new house music super star from Holland. Also starring are Axwell who is known for super hits like "Antidote", "Save the World" and "One", Avicii, whose song ”Levels” was one of last year’s biggest radio hits and many others, including Todd Terry, Dash Berlin, Gareth Emery, Markus Sculz, Hardwell and ATB as well as the local most successful names with the lead of Alex Kunnari and Heikki L.
Last year Summer Sound was organised in Suvilahti and sold out already in presale. This year the event has been moved to Messukeskus for bigger audience capacity and even more comfortable surroundings. The place will get a whole new look fit for the DJ elite and the festival. The area will also include a high quality dining area, a café and several lounges for cooling down.
