PETER STEELE (Type o Negative, Carnivore) tribute night at Nosturi in June!

| A tribute night in the memory of late Type O Negative/ Carnivore singer-basist Petrus Ratajczyk (Peter Steele) will be organised on Saturday June 5th 2010 at Nosturi, Helsinki. The profit of the evening will be donated to charity.

The massive popularity of Type O Negative and Carnivore have been mostly based on Peter Steeles black humour, dark lyrics and charismatic appearance. Steele was also known from his admiration for intelligence and knowledge, which can be detected form his provocative lyrics, that have been often intentionally misunderstood.

A range of rising domestic metalgroups will perform songs from Type O Negative and Carnivore during the night. At the moment the following acts have been confirmed: Beyond the Dream/Gotham O.D-United, Dark Filth Fraternity feat Tuomas Saukkonen (Before the Dawn/Black Sun Aeon) & Tomi (Entwine), Dead Shape Figure feat. Joni (End Of You), Depressed Mode, Ghoul Patrol, Grendel, Sinisthra, Throes Of Dawn, Tukkanuotta, Thrashgrinder and Vanguard.

Due to the wish of the members of Type o Negative the profit of the evening will be donated to finnish children diagnosed with cancer.
