| Swedish group Junip return to Finland in spring. Last seen in Helsinki at Flow Festival 2010 the trio consisting of José Gonzáles, Elias Araya and Tobias Winterkorn arrive to Tavastia in Helsinki on Wednesday March 2. Tickets will be available on Monday December 20.
Junip was founded already in 1999, but their praised EP ”Black Refuge” was released just in 2005. After this José Gonzalés started his solo career and the band took a little break. Their long and carefully prepared debut album "Fields" was released eventually this autumn. Junip will start their upcoming tour from Australia in December and return to Europe in middle of January.
Junip's music has been described as hypnotic and hazy folk that is lead by Gonzalés soft voice. Live the trio creates a fine atmosphere that captures their listeners and forces them to focus on the music.
