| Also known from The Hellacopters, Nicke Andersson brings his new powerpop band Imperial State Electric (SWE) for two gigs in Helsinki in May 2010. The band will perform at Bar Loose on Tuesday May 18th and as special guest at Ankkuriklubi in Nosturin Alakerta on Wednesday 19th.
Imperial State Electric will release their debut album on June 2nd 2010. The group describes themselves as the missing link between The Beatles and Alice Cooper or a bridge, directing their listeners fluently from The Byrds to Sex Pistols. The group consist of Nicke Andersson, Dolf De Borst (The Datsuns), Tobias Egge (The Objects) and Tomas Eriksson (Captain Myrphy).
